The government has updated the policies regarding this.
Here are some of the new Policies:
Gatherings, public places, outings, outdoor activities
Upto a group of six people can meet outdoors in public places like outdoor gardens, private spaces,parks, etc, while strictly maintaining the guidelines for social distancing. People can visit places like car showrooms and markets.People can send their children to schools or Nurseries if they in between ages 1 to 6 years of age depending on the regulations made by the school. Athletes will be able to use trains and specified gyms.
Outdoor Travel Restrictions
There will be no limitations on how far a person can travel outdoors as long as the person returns home the very same night and does not put other at risk. Public Transport should still be avoided and private cars, bicycles, etc should be used. People are also not allowed to stay overnight at some place.
Going To Work
Employees should make every possible effort to make sure that they work from home as much as possible, provided they have the equipment required to do so. For firms that require employees to go to workplaces, they should special guidelines made by the government to protect them from COVID-19.
Non essential retail shops, bars, pubs, gyms and other leisure places will be remained closed.
Public Transport
Public Transport should be avoided as much as possible to avoid the spread of COVID-19 and people should try to use their private vehicles as much as possible. It is also not safe to share your vehicle with any one else.
Schools
As of now only children of critical worker or vulnerable children are eligible to use school provisions. If and when situations will get safer, more groups of children will be allowed school facilities.
From June 1st, Primary Schools will open for younger students in Year 1 and 6 in smaller numbers.
Secondary schools should also begin to prepare for some face to face contact between Year 10 and 12 as they will be having important exams next year.
